In this tutorial we will be teaching you how to successfully setup a Discord bot using A VPS and some server management tools.

Creating A Bot

  • To setup your bots base, navigate to Discords Developer Portal here

  • You will need to sign in using your own Discord account as no extra account is needed for the bot.

  • Click on "New Application" at the top right of your screen

  • Now Fill In the following:

    • Bot Name:

    • Bot Description:

    • App/Bot Icon:

  • Click save on the pop up to ensure your settings are saved correctly.
